E-town 10s finish 3rd in the state tournament
7/21/2010After beating Barren County, Prairie Village and Metcalfe County in pool play and beating Barren County again in single elimination, the 10 Year Old All-Star Team lost a heartbreaker to Mt. Washington 2-1 Sunday in Edmonton. They finished 3rd in the tournament. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a really good all-star season. This group won the District Tournament and the E-town All-Star Invitational Tournament this season before their run ended in the state tournament.
12 Year Olds drop into loser's bracket in state tourney
7/16/2010The 12 Year Old All-Star Team lost to Mt Washington 9-6 last night at the Germantown ballpark. They will face West Louisville at noon on Saturday in an elimination game.
14 Year Olds win game 1 in district tournament
7/15/2010The 14 Year Old All-Star Team beat Meade County 8-6 in game one of the best of three series for the district title in Leitchfield.
11 Year Olds lose a close one in their first state tourney game
7/15/2010The 11 Year Old All-Star Team rallied from an 8-3 deficit, but fell short and lost 9-8 to Prairie Village in Mt. Washington. They play Saturday at 10:00 am against either Mt. Washington, Germantown, Barren County or Fern Creek.
9 Year Olds win first game in state tournament
7/15/2010The 9 Year Old All-Star Team beat Owensboro-Daviess County 5-2 last night in Owensboro in pool play. They will play Jeffersontown at 7:00 Friday night.
E-town 10's Win District Championship!
7/8/2010The E-town 10 Year Old All-Star Team beat Larue County 5-2 today to win the District Championship! A big congratulations to the players and the coaches on winning the district.

7/8/2010The E-town 8 Year Old All-Star Team lost to Meade County last night 12-2, ending their chance to play in the district championship game.
E-town 9's lose in championship game
7/8/2010The E-town 9 Year Old All-Stars lost to Larue County tonight 15-5 to finish as the runner-up in the district championship.
E-town 12's come up short in district
7/7/2010The E-town 12's lost to Meade County Green Saturday 2-1 in the district championship game. They will travel to Louisville Germantown this week for the state tournament.

7/1/2010Congratulations to Brandt Pawley of the Major League Giants, who won the 2010 Sonny Chaput Award. The award was presented by the Knights of Columbus prior to the first pitch of Game 1 of the Major League World Series Tuesday night.

6/25/2010The Major League Regular Season Champion was the Yankees, in the Minor League it was the Padres, in the Peanut League the White Sox and Yankees were Co-Champions and in the 6 Year Old League the Twins and Astros were Co-Champions. Elizabethtown Sports Park Update
6/23/2010Officials from the Elizabethtown Tourism and Convention Bureau and the Elizabethtown City Council officially broke ground on the site of the new sports park yesterday. Many young athletes, coaches and their parents were also on hand for the ceremony. Construction crews have been moving about 10,000 cubic yards of dirt per day for about three weeks. It should take about 120 days to complete Phase 1. The city is continuing to receive bids for the remaining phases of the counstruction.

11/25/2009On June 12, 2009 the EABC was one of several organizations who benefited from the Operation Round-Up program at Nolin RECC’s annual meeting. The program started in June 2007 and has donated nearly $24,000 to projects/agencies in our community. Altogether, $15,778 was donated to Warm Blessings, LaRue County Parks and Recreation, Radcliff Baseball and Softball Association, South Hardin Sports and the EABC this year. The EABC received its portion in the form of three defibrillators to be placed at each concession stand during the season. We would like to thank Nolin RECC and its members for helping to make our ballpark a safer place by donating these life-saving devices.
